Friday nights to come alive with Music on the Square in Auburn

As the warm evenings of late spring and summer return to the Sierra foothills, downtown Auburn is preparing for one of its most beloved seasonal traditions: Music in the Square at Central Square.

Beginning May 1 and continuing every Friday from 6-8 p.m. through the end of September, Central Square will once again transform into a lively gathering place filled with rhythm, laughter, dancing and community connection.

This free, family-friendly concert series invites residents and visitors to bring a lawn chair, pick up dinner from a favorite local restaurant and settle in for an evening of live music under the open sky. Each week features a different musical artist and a wide variety of genres – from classic rock and country blues, jazz, folk and contemporary favorites – ensuring there is something for every musical taste.
